This 1970 Chevelle is an original LS6 with a non-numbers matching 454ci motor. An LS6 car was a SS 454 package with a four barrel carb, four bolt main bearings, iron bearing caps, heavy duty connecting rods and a solid-lifter camshaft. The 454 puts out 450 horses @ 5200 rpm, 500 lbs-ft torque @ 3600rpm. It accelerated from 0-60 in 5.4 seconds and was a 13.81 second car in the quarter mile. Only 3,773 SS sport coupes and convertible chevelles were sold with the 454, so a much smaller number of these were LS6 cars.
